How it affects our recommendations

It doesn’t decide them. Rankings are editorial, and where the do-it-yourself route is better (a train to Bath, Westminster Abbey booked direct, the Ceremony of the Keys through Historic Royal Palaces) we say so — even though it earns us nothing.

Ratings, review counts, and from-prices on tour cards come from Viator and are dated with when we checked them; with our live connection enabled they update automatically. We never invent them. Prices change by date and option, so always confirm on the booking page.
